The beautiful contrast of the recessed dark oxidized sterling silver disc and the shiny 9ct gold reminds of the glowing full moon in a dark night sky. Simon Barber is a fifth generation jeweller from Co. Cork (Ireland). It’s in the family workshop that Simon honed his skills alongside his father Dermot. He has created his own unique style of jewellery which is inspired by a love of the natural world, with its wealth of textures and shapes. Also inspired by the stories of the past that live on the landscape in crumbling ruins and ancient woodlands, Simon brings his own story capturing his love of Ireland past, present and future.
